It's starting to be difficult to buy Intel hardware at retail that
2.99.917 can drive at all, it's been over three years since it was
released. The project looks fairly quiescent these days. I don't know
if Intel has some formal release process they want to use, but I figure
intel-gfx@ would be the place to ask (cc'd).
