Adding the pull request as part of the cover letter. Sending from
personal account since getting the shared repo is WIP.

Lets run this version on CI.

i915-firmware-2017-11-09:

The following changes since commit
bf04291309d3169c0ad3b8db52564235bbd08e30:

WHENCE: Add new qed firmware (2017-10-09 18:03:26 +0100)

are available in the git repository at:

I cannot see 1.27 here https://github.com/anushasr/linux-
firmware/tree/master/i915?
Or just me looking from wrong place?
Ok, was on wrong branch but this also could not be found by CI. + Tomi

The original pull request was missing branch, and it defaults to master, so CI (or even us humans) couldn't find that file at first.

The new SKl firmware is in the SKL_DMC branch, but unfortunately, KBL_DMC 1.04 is not in that branch, so this revealed another shortcoming: CI needs to use staging area to collect all the firmwares instead of just packing git working tree, where tracked files can come and go.

CI does have the SKL_DMC now, and I re-ran the Patchwork series
https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/series/33568/

Please include branch information in the future pull requests.

Best regards,

Tomi Sarvela
