The pci ids and tables motions looks ok, so

on that part.

Can you do a
/sbin/modinfo drivers/gpu/drm/i915/i915.ko  | grep ^alias: | wc -l
before/after just to make sure.

Bonus points for marking up all the structs with __initdata
