Alright, thanks! I'm testing the stuff right now. Since I didn't have the issue on my machine, I can't say whether it fixes or not. But at least it doesn't give any regression, so far ;) I've put it to topic/i2c-dw-cherrytrail branch for anyone who wants to try.
