Hello,
since I upgraded cyrus imapd from 3.2.6-2+deb11 to 3.6.1-4+deb12u2 a
while ago I notice issues while creating new shared mailboxes using cyradm.
For example:
localhost> cm shared/techdoc-intern@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
createmailbox: Mailbox already exists
localhost> lm shared/techdoc-intern@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
localhost> lam shared/techdoc-intern@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Mailbox does not exist
Recently I used a workaround, I recreated a previously renamed shared
mailbox using a different domain and renamed it to the domain of choice.
But it doesn't work here.
localhost> cm shared/techdoc-intern@xxxxxx
createmailbox: Mailbox already exists
localhost> lam shared/techdoc-intern@xxxxxx
Mailbox does not exist
I'm pretty sure that I've never created a mailbox named
techdoc-intern@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and I'm 100% sure that never beeing
created a mailbox named techdoc-intern@xxxxxx.
While a workaround would be pretty good at the moment, there must be an
issue which should be solved sooner than later. What I've tried is
checking the db using ctl_mboxlist and chk_cyrus, but there was no hint
to the existence of techdoc-intern@. chk_cyrus stopped with
bad mailbox easterngraphics.com!user.alxxx
and I've no idea how to skip this message and resume the check.
Any hints to go further are welcome.
Thx
Christian
