Hi, I think the problem is that by entering the command 'cm user.myname' you manually create the mailbox, so this will automatically prevent autocreation of the user's mailbox. Do not create the mailbox this way. Just login with thunderbird as you normally do after deleting the user's mailbox and this should trigger the mailbox autocreation process...
