Adding the "devel" list to this as I will need help/advice from developers.
After analysing the code a bit more, I noticed it goes wrong for
"OPT_BYTESIZE"
I added the following to the case-statement:
case OPT_BYTESIZE:
printf("%s: BYTESIZE NOT IMPLEMENTED\n", imapopts[i].optname);
break;
case OPT_NOTOPT:
printf("%s: NOTOPT NOT IMPLEMENTED\n", imapopts[i].optname);
break;
And grepping "NOT IMPLEMENTED" in the output, I see all the "_size"
options that are listed on the following URL:
https://www.cyrusimap.org/imap/download/release-notes/3.8/x/3.8.0.html
I noticed this is fixed in the version on github, but would like
confirmation that using this will not cause any issues with the rest
of the package.

Hi All,
After installing Cyrus 3.8.1 and running through the upgrade steps,
I had a coredump while running:
# cyr_info conf-default -M /etc/cyrus.conf -C /etc/imapd.conf
Same happens with the option "conf-all"
Using "conf-lint" returns no output (which hopefully means I have no
deprecated options.
However, the coredump is worrying.
Using "gdb", I get the following backtrace:
