How to deal with log spam from closed user accounts?

Dear Cyrus folks,

`imap` logs several badlogin lines from login attempts of clients from former users¹ that have not deconfigured that account in these clients.

2024-01-05T15:39:55+01:00 tldr imaps[30082]: badlogin: X [a.b.c.d] plaintext someone SASL(-13): authentication failure: checkpass failed

Has somebody come up with an elegant idea to keep such lines out of the logs?

Kind regards,

Paul

¹ Actually when users leave, we just rename their account and prepend a capital O in front of the name.
