Hmm. How much time elapses in the logs between the "updating recovery
stamp" and the first "assuming the worst"? I guess if something is
deleting the skipstamp file out from under Cyrus, that'll narrow down
when it's happening...
assuming the worst shows up before that, and after. The first one in
that log is before though:
```
# zgrep skiplist /var/log/mail.log.1 | grep clean
2023-08-02T22:36:15.735635+00:00 virt cyrus/ctl_cyrusdb[3012332]:
skiplist: clean shutdown file missing, updating recovery stamp
# zgrep worst /var/log/mail.log.1 | grep head
# zgrep worst /var/log/mail.log.1 | head -n 1
2023-07-30T00:05:47.209047+00:00 virt cyrus/imaps[2797990]: DBERROR:
read failed, assuming the worst: filename=</var/lib/cyrus/db/skipstamp>
syserror=<No such file or directory> func=<myinit>
```
Just in case I went ahead and nuked that ancient backup and restarted
cyrus-imapd, but it did nto fix it. I'm still getting all the 'read
failed, assuming the worst' messages.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
