Thanks a lot for continuing to work with me on this.

For my DAEMON_OPTIONS I have DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Family=inet,
Name=MTA-v4, Port=587', `M=Ea')dnl

I don't think the order of the mechanisms makes a difference as far as
I know.  I  have
define(`TRUST_AUTH_MECH', `DIGEST-MD5 CRAM-MD5 LOGIN PLAIN')dnl

Anything different except maybe the order?
