Hello,
One of the mailboxes in Cyrus is corrupt.
There are folders in it, which cannot be removed (named "Postvak in"
and "Sent Messages") and Thunderbird keeps on going to download
everything.
I have removed the folders server-side and did run a reconstruct:
/usr/lib/cyrus/bin/reconstruct -rfG "user.joost"
But the removed folders are re-created.
What to do to make this work fine again?
With regards,
Paul
There is always the "hammer on everything" model
That's what I like ;-)
(as the mailboxes
needing to be recreated are taken from the mailboxes.db):
ctl_mboxlist -d > mailboxes.txt
I found it here: /usr/lib/cyrus/bin/ctl_mboxlist
Interesting to see how many old stuff is there, all old users.
removing mailboxes from mailboxes.txt
ctl_mboxlist -u < mailboxes.txt
Looks great, but..
Trying the second command on a standby/testing system first, sure.
Hmm, my testing system has a newer Cyrus version.
But I think I have removed them now with cyradm ;-)
sam "user.joost.Sent Messages" cyrus lrswipcda
dm "user.joost.Sent Messages"
With regards,
Paul
