My old 2.4 server ran with altnamespace: off and unixhierarchysep: on.
I am now migrating to 3.0. Regarding this statement in the documentation and the change of default from off to on: "By default Cyrus IMAP uses altnamespace: on".
What are the advantages of the new default 'on'?
Should I take the opportunity to change with the move (and update sieve scripts as part of the change)? Or no issues in leaving "as is" and setting up the new server as altnamespace: off?
Does it need to be the same between sync_client and sync_server?
