Missing sieve folder

Hi,

we moved from an old cyrus system to a newer one (2.14.19)
~18 months ago. The system runs very smooth. However I noticed
a couple of problems:

1) We are creating a user using a script. The script is executing
on the mail system some commands to create the mailboxes and the aliases.
I found one case where 2 mailboxes where created "user.username"
and "user.Username". The folders for "Username" where missing,
so it gave some IOERROR. Any idea how this can happen (username is
converted to lower case BEFORE the script on the mail system is executed) ?

2)For a large number of people the sieve folders are either empty
or not existing!
Dec 11 17:18:53 mail lmtpunix[687]: IOERROR: fstating sieve script /var/lib/sieve/m/mxxx/defaultbc: No such file or directory Dec 11 17:18:54 mail lmtpunix[1692]: IOERROR: fstating sieve script /var/lib/sieve/m/myyyy/defaultbc: No such file or directory Dec 11 17:18:54 mail lmtpunix[1680]: IOERROR: fstating sieve script /var/lib/sieve/m/mzzzz/defaultbc: No such file or directory

ll /var/lib/sieve/m/mxxx/defaultbc
ls: cannot access '/var/lib/sieve/m/mxxx/defaultbc': No such file or directory
mail:/tmp # ll /var/lib/sieve/m/mxxx/
ls: cannot access '/var/lib/sieve/m/mxxx/': No such file or directory

How can this happen ?

What is the pest way to fix it ?
