I am not that experienced in doing that, sorry.

Is lmtpd dumping core anywhere? You can look in the directory that you started master from.

Is this a single server or a Murder?

Can you tell what the recipient email addresses are? Do they have anything in common such as they are using + addressing (e.g. user+submailbox@domain)
