Did you try to "strace" it while running? Maybe you can see where it
hangs.
I resolved I complied cyrus-sasl with the option :
--with-devrandom=/dev/urandom
pop3d now are 50
But I still have a high uptime:

Since the only change made to the server was the upgrade version of
cyrus-imapd IMAP what I can see to fine the problem on server ?
What version did you upgrade from? If from 2.3.x or prior you are most
likely seeing a high load due to index upgrades. Id upgraded about 3
weeks ago and had high loads for about 2 hours.
I upgrade form 2.3.16, to 2.4.10.
I noticed in fact thatt in the log there are a lot of this , I change
only the user :
