Ah, that's exactly what I am looking for. Unfortunately I have
unixhierarchysep: no; not sure if I can change this midflight on a
live system?

Or would that break all clients, i.e. you use either yes or no, but
you can't switch that easily.

Better clone the environment and test I suppose.
