If your secondary is also configured as final destination (mydestination in /etc/postfix/main.cf ) then postfix will try the delivery to itself (the secondary), this is correct. The simple solution is to shutdown postfix on your secondary to be sure you will not have to deal with synchronization in the other way (from secondary to primary).
