I should hope all Cyrus developers have at least some interest in making
the code more robust!  :-)

It scares the hell out of me whenever I find that some network daemon
code I run is making any kind of assumptions with the data it reads,
even from local disks, such that a violation of those assumptions can
lead to a core dump.
