Debian compiles master as cyrmaster, as long as other files I don't know, such as cyradmin possibly. So when you want to upgrade your debian box with a new cyrus imap version you must force the prefix or change your /etc/init.d/cyrus21 script, because if not, the old cyrmaster is called and nothing works. I've been looking for the cyrmaster package (I suposed it was a different project) for weeks. Hope someone writes down the change somewere easy to find.
