Personally I use Evolution.

If you are looking for something lighter and faster, Sylpheed is very
feature-rich, however it does not display only subscribed folders (i.e.
it is not LSUB-aware).  Also see sylpheed-claws for a branch with more
features.

If you don't mind its closed-source nature, Opera has a more than
decent, very fast and mostly standards-compliant IMAP client embedded in
its browser.
