This could be done as part of the process of delivering mail to Cyrus
by using a program such as altermime:

http://www.pldaniels.com/altermime/

Exactly how you'd do this would depend on the MTA (sendmail,
postfix, exim etc) you're using.  For exim I'd probably consider a
transport filter.

Disclaimer: I've never actually tried to do this...
