Cisco WebEx is currently experiencing some audio issues [1] which means that you may be unable to join a session by computer audio or may have unacceptably poor quality audio. If this happens to you then we recommend that you join the WebEx normally and join the audio by phone, using the following instructions: - If you have not yet joined the WebEx session and want to use phone audio: 1) Go to the WebEx meeting URL. 2) You will see a pop-up with the meeting name. Your audio options are underneath the "Join Meeting" button. Set your audio option to "Call in" and hit the "Join Meeting" button. 3) Once you join the meeting, you will see a new pop-up with your dial-in numbers, Access Code, and Attendee ID. Call the appropriate number, and when prompted, enter your Access Code and Attendee ID. (This ensures that your audio is synced with WebEx.) - If you have already joined the WebEx session and want to switch from computer to phone audio: 1) In the upper left corner is the “Meeting Information” icon. This icon will give you the meeting information and your attendee ID. Call the appropriate number, and when prompted, enter your Access Code and Attendee ID. (This ensures that your audio is synced with WebEx.) Please feel free to join the Hallway room [2] to test your audio setup before your session starts today. We are monitoring this situation and if there are significant issues with people joining by phone then later sessions, including the plenary, may be rescheduled to another day.
