Today, over 60 IETF working group emails were in my gmail spam filter, put there by gmail. Almost all of them are base64 encoded messages without any plain/text mime alternate parts. And another trait, most have over 100 lines of headers. With about 24 unique X- headers that mean nothing to me. I am finding that larger number of false positive spams, from/to IETF working groups are being put into the spam filter by gmail. I wish gmail would somehow tag the reason (or if they do, they it is not obvious to me). Something has changed.
