Hi, Perhaps you can clarify something. > [...] back out to bid in 2021 expressly for the purposes of refining our RFP process, Heather Flanagan, the current RFC Series Editor (RSE), has informed the RSOC, IAB, and IETF LLC that she does not intend to renew the RSE contract, So, paraphrasing, originally the RSOC recommendation was to extend the contract, and during that period place it out to bid to refine the process. My logic suggests that the RSOC (& IAB) believes that process needs refining before running the big "for real". Now you (we, the IETF) don't have that option. How are you going to refine the process prior to issuing the RFP? What community oversight and engagement will you be providing? Cheers Terry
