Maybe all WG meeting presentations should be required to be made semi-Pecha Kucha style - strictly limited to 6:40 in time and no more than 20 slides. The remainder of that slot would be reserved for discussions.
At least one or two of the last slides should have to have questions or meeting discussion topics on them.
The projection screen should be a white board for dry erasable markers. During the subsequent discussion, the presenter should be able to recall any of the slides onto the projection screen, and scribble on the white board as necessary. A video camera should be pointed at the white board for the benefit of remote participants. (It's also fine if it's a smart white board that can digitally transmit the scribbles to remote participants.)
Exceptions to this policy should require approval of two ADs. :) Keith
