I agree with your understanding. But my co-authors certainly think it is not
a Historic document but very up to date.
Then I agree with others here, and there is nothing you can or should
do. Plenty of people have their names on documents that turned out to
not work as expected. There is no shame in that. You were part of the
process that led to new and improved protocols. Thanks for that.
