I'm glad we agree about this, because the difference between BigCompany in this and any other case, and the Internet Society, is that exactly one of these is the legal, corporate home of the IETF LLC. The Internet Society, so far as I am aware (and noting the address I'm posting from) is unique in this aspect, and will remain so as long as the newly-minted LLC arrangements obtain.
