This is not about recognition of same-sex marriage, and I
expect that one of the reasons we're having difficulty making
progress is that there's confusion on that point.  Singapore
criminalizes relationships between men - as in, gay men can
be jailed, under existing law.  Furthermore, gay adoption is
also not legal, and not recognized.  This isn't about same-sex
marriage.
