I agree that the visa issue need to be considered when choosing the venue. But if we start pushing the visa horizon much beyond 3 moths we will run into other problems, like 6 months before the March meeting I will not know if I've my contract renewed. I would say that 3 months is n unreasonably long time to wait for a visa.
