The IAOC is seeking community input on a proposed Network Services Request for Proposal. The successful bidder(s) will have the opportunity to compete for delivering network services at IETF meetings. The IAOC has decided that it wants to issue a Network Services RFP during the current one-year extension that VeriLan is working under to see whether it can identify other qualified providers, provide for a backup for VeriLan, and maybe introduce some competition and competitive prices for these services. The RFP is located here under the Community Review section: <http://iaoc.ietf.org/rfpsrfis.html> Comments to the Tools Management Committee at tmc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx provided by 5:00 PM EST 6 November 2012 will be considered.
