Too clarify something. The various experimental and ongoing volunteer efforts and well as contractor provided services has non-trivial trivial support costs even when they are delivered by volunteers paying their own way. We can and should (and do) evaluate how we can do better, whether they're appropiate or not and what else we should be doing.

    above 4 kHz to the meetecho guys.

    With this audio quality, this is very close to useless (except
    maybe for historians digging it up 5000 years in the future and
    painstakingly reconstructing what was maybe said).
