I'd actually vote for NO meetings on Fridays. %90 of attendees fly home on Friday if at all possible, especially since most of us have flown in on Sunday. Unless you are local to the meeting, it is a major hassle leaving after the meetings on Friday, especially if you are international, since you are unlikely to make your flight and then are forced to stay another night. This adds to the expenses of the trip, which most companies are now very sensitive to. This added day is especially evident if you are in some relatively obscure location as was last summer's meeting or the last one in Japan, that had no easy direct access to a major airport other than several hours of train/travel. Blowing nearly 2 weekends in a row for each IETF meeting is not the way forward if you ask me. 8) --Tom On Jul 31, 2011, at 11:48 AM, Eric Burger wrote: > I don't think I have seen a proposal like this before.
