While IPv4 is demonstratively usable, IPv6 along with ND is too bloated that it is totally unusable. For example, packet too big for multicast PMTUD causes ICMPv6 implosions which may be used for DoS. While IPv4 guarantees that 516B payload receivable by any host, IPv6 can't. Because of indefinitely length header options, some of which (e.g. options for mobility) are inserted without trasnport/application control, there is no room, not even 1B, reserved for payload. And, the worst problem is that 16B address, thanks to poor estimation of RFC1715, is impossible to remember.
