Re: one data point regarding native IPv6 support

The situation in the UK appears similar to the US, with the exception of some really tech-friendly, passionate and clueful ISPs: either flat-out denial that IPv6 is important, in the smaller and well-off case, or else complete cluelessness, in the larger case. For larger ISPs, especially the resident cable pigopolist, you have to go to their user support forums to read the staff opinion, i.e., IPv6 is alarmist tripe and it'll wait, no plans to support, etc. My personal opinion is that they are simply afraid; they have too much invested in a young market, and now they're overpowered by the changes required, but without progress made or anticipated, it's a vicious circle, with investors in the lead.

Cheers,
Sabahattin
