Thank you very much for your changes. Now the registry definition seems to be clear.


The references are now all Informational (there was a down reference
to experimental).
Maybe RFC 5226 should be referenced normatively, as well as some docs. connected to PIMv2. Moreover, the reference to IANA registry should read:

Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) Registry, "IGMP Type Numbers", per RFC 3228, as for <registry update date, for this - November 2010>

There was a comment about expanding the term PIM. PIM has now been
added to the list of well-known abbreviations that don't need to be
expanded. Hence I chose not to expand it.
