When and how will this password be distributed? I'll be arriving on saturday (to attend a workshop at the venue), it would be helpful if those who arrive early don't have to wait to get on the network until registration opens sunday at 11.

(It occurs to me that a good way to give out this information pre-meeting is through inclusion on the payment receipt.)

Also see Mark Andrews' message, on some systems it's useful or necessary to know the exact authtentication type that will be used.
