Yes, avoiding that kind of confusion, when it is so easy to accomplish by careful choices at the start is definitely the right thing to do. "Study" is just the acquisition of knowledge right, so instead of study, let's say knowledge aquisition instead (it's only ever going to be used as its acronym anyway, right?)
