Now, that justification assumes there is value in knowing who in the meeting said what. Here are some reasons why I think it is valuable to know who said what in a meeting. First, if I disagree, I know who I need to convince. Second, it's a lot easier to refer to previous comments by who said them than by repeating a capsule summary that is sufficient to be unambiguous.
