Is this exact? This is urgent as the IRI is based upon IDN and support of multilingualism is a WSIS priority and comments for the WGIG are to close the day after tomorrow.
That is a well known attack.
I made presentation in 1997 at Munich IETF warning that first 'C' of MICROSOFT.COM may be Cyrillic character with a shape identical to that of Latin 'S' that blank minded internationalization is the bad idea unless all the characters are distinguishable by all the users.
However, blank minded people thought Unicode were a good idea.
You are obserbing the inevitable consequances.
