Its been 7 months since this list was notified of the illegitimate transfer of assets, (including the IETF trademarks [1]) away from the IETF Trust to the newly formed IETF Intellectual Property Management Corporation (IPMC). Correct me if I'm wrong but it appears it was done for multiple jurisdictions; Canada, International, New Zealand, UK, all signed by all trustees. All very bad. Maybe the best way to fix this would be to start over and transfer everything back to the Trust. Earlier in this thread Glenn asked if there was any reasonable reason why the transfer should be withheld, and I would yes. Yes because it has been proven that the board is incompetent at best and devious at worst.
Has anyone on this list considered filing a Petition(s) to Cancel with the USPTO or similar in the other countries?
