Thanks for letting us know; so sad to hear. I will miss Bernard as he and I worked on several authentication protocols.
While we didn’t always start with the same views, we always found some way to converge and collaborate.

passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, after facing health challenges.
Many of you certainly know him, and appreciate the work that he did over the years for a better and more secure Internet, in the IETF, IEEE and at Microsoft.
