Thank you Randy, but I’m confused: your earlier mail pointed a 50-odd page draft that updates RFC 7454. This newer document is very thin! I guess that’s what you get from the back and forth.

 

But I’m very happy they got rid of this sentence: “The document explicitly does not make value statements on the efficacy of individual techniques, [nor] does it mandate or prescribe the use of specific technique or implementations.”

 

Please make value statements!
