Secdir review of draft-ietf-lamps-header-protection

Reviewer: Russ Mundy

I have reviewed this document as part of the security directorate's ongoing
effort to review all IETF documents being processed by the IESG. These comments
were written primarily for the benefit of the security area directors. Document
editors and WG chairs should treat these comments just like any other last call
comments.

This document was produced by the LAMPS Working Group and is currently titled
Header Protection for Cryptographically Protected E-mail. As the title says, it
specifies mechanisms for protecting e-mail headers. Overall, I found the
document to be very well written and structured with many informative use cases
and examples.

With respect to the Security Considerations section, it is well reasoned and
thorough as well as being an integral part of the document (rather than an
after thought like many IDs). In fact, I believe this is the best Security
Considerations section that I ever recall reading.

Well done authors, contributors and LAMPS Working Group!
