I think that we should have Foretec arrange all of the 2005 meetings
and run them,  period.  No arrangements to "transfer", etc.

Any new arrangement would apply to 2006 meetings.

I would expect any person hired on the schedule that Harald posted would
be involved in the spring 2005 meeting as a serious learning experience,
and from that should *immediately* attempt to organize 2006, probably
starting with the *last* meeting of 2006. 

I think that the Foretec person who has done most of this work has been
Julie. I know that she has also planned other meetings --- the ISOC,
Global IPv6 summit are two that I know, and perhaps some ICANN ones as
well. 

I'm assuming that she won't be out of a job at the end of 2005, but
rather will find her workload less hectic. 

We know that booking early saves money, and we know that locations fill
up early. (Me, I like Minneapolis just fine. I do wish to have fewer
meetings in the US)
