I agree with you on the first part of the above about TLS.

The last sentence about IPv4 working seamlessly with IPv6 is not so clear. I assume that you might have meant that the upper layer protocol would work over IPv4 as it works over IPv6. It's a bit more complicated. Email service providers tend to have more stringent policies for SMTP connections over IPv6. I also came across that when accessing some web properties over IPv6. I no longer use the IPv6 subnet to access some of those web properties and gave up visiting the rest.
