Hi, There seems to be an assumption in this discussion that when someone works on something in the IETF they take on the responsibility to be reachable for the rest of their lives (and beyond). For some people this is fine, but for (most?) others, probably not. Perhaps we should be discussing how to support published RFC when the authors are not available via email. Bob
