No, but, free distribution of CSAM over the Internet was
killing commercial production and trade of CSAM, which was,
in a sense, good.

But when people use such an emotion-laden issue as CSAM to argue for a global surveillance regime, it's a little difficult to take such input as constructive.

Surveillance not very effective against cautious professionals
should maximize revenue of CSAM industry, I'm afraid.
