I struggle to follow this I-D, The meaning of a registry entry with an intial 'X' changes from private use to specification required. What happens to all the private users? Are their entries now open for squatting or some such? * ID (required): a four-byte value padded on the right with zeros. Each value must be an ASCII uppercase letter or minus sign Four bytes, each a value, each a letter or minus sign - at face value, this means that there can never be any zeros, there is no room for them. - likewise, this allow values such as 'GP-S' which seems unwise Designated Experts are expected to be familiar with I-D. This mentions adding RFC5906; it seems to me that this I-D needs also to be a reference.
