This seems sane and maybe useful.

Two nits:

- I wondered where "date-time" is defined but guess
that's in rfc5322? If so, a reference would likely
be good.

- Does expiry happen on or after the specified second?
Probably makes no odds, but corner-cases and all that:-)

Abstract
