What floors me:
- the number of participants in this discussion who can't imagine that
different people might legitimately have different, and yet reasonable,
ideas of the bounds of reasonable behavior,
- the number of participants in this discussion who believe that someone
else's supposedly rude behavior justifies their being far more abusive,
not only of the accused person, but of anyone who disagrees with them.
